The Sokkia CX-101 Reflectorless Total Station is a surveying instrument that measures horizontal and vertical angles and distances. It combines a telescope, electronic angle sensors, and an electronic distance meter to help surveyors determine positions, elevations, and distances on a job site.

Its reflectorless measurement system allows users to measure suitable surfaces without placing a prism at the target. This is useful for surveying walls, building corners, and difficult-to-reach locations. Reflectorless measurements reach up to 500 meters, depending on the surface and environmental conditions.

The CX-101 provides 1-arcsecond angular accuracy and a 30× magnification telescope for precise aiming. Its dual-axis compensator corrects for small instrument tilts, while the Independent Angle Calibration System supports reliable angle measurements. These capabilities help with detailed surveying and construction layout.

Surveyors use the instrument to collect points for mapping, establish site control, and locate planned construction positions. Its backlit display and keypad support field operation, while internal memory stores approximately 10,000 points. USB connectivity allows measurement data to be transferred for further processing.
