Auto Tracking function enhanced your productivity drastically.
The DS Series, with the auto tracking function, requires no operator at the total station - It locks and tracks the prism constantly enabling the immediate measurement as soon as target prism is loacated at any point, also operator to control survey from the rover side. With the auto tracking function, time for alignment adjustment and focusing operations, required on the manual total station, are completely elimanted, thus increasing measurement speed and enahancing productivity of measurement work.

The auto tracking function is very effective to perform TOPO survey. You just need to carry a prism pole with data collector and visit points to be measured. Numerous points can be measured an collected very quickly with such simple operation.

New auto Collimation "Xpointing Technology" DS Series
The Topcon DS unitizes Xpointing technology featuring a new intelligent algorithm that automatically aims to the prism with precision by corrected angle readings. The Xpointing technology works even in dim or dark conditions where the prism is difficult to be found. Whateer the job requires and wherever operators must go, the DS makes your job done easier and faster while still maintaining accuracy.

Stake-out
Users also benefit from the auto tracking function for in stake-out survey work. It is so easy and quick to find stake-out points, by just following navigation on the screen of data collector, without communicating with operator at the instrument or moving along with the fixed direction. The more stake-out points you locate, you can get higher productivity compared with conventional instruments.

Exclusive Longlink Communications
Can be used to establish a wireless linkage with a data terminal at the prism side, up to 300m distance away. longlink provides the user the ability to enter code descriptors at the remote prism pole enabling more effective data collection, as well as graphical navigations in stakeout work.

Fast and powerul EDM
The 1,000M (3,280ft) reflectorless measurement can be achieved by the smaller beam spot size of the EDM. Measurements can be as fast as 0.9 seconds in the accurate find mode to most object surfaces over the longer distance.

Topcon Tesla Cross-over Controller

Large screen, yet still handheld comfortable
The Topcon Tesla is the ideal cross-over device for field data collection. The screen is much larger than a palm sized field controller, but the overall size of the device is much better than a tablet PC. The ergonomic balance between screen size and handheld size is perfect. The screen of the Topcon Tesla can be configured to display vertically or horizontally. Simply touch the rotation button and the screen will rotate. This makes it possible to use in both handheld vertical and on the pole horizontal orientation.

The rugged design of the Topcon Tesla is unmatched in such a large screen format. The device is submersible waterproof, and drop proof. The frame of the Topcon Tesla is magnesium alloy, which is both lightweight and strong. Your data will be protected and the reliability of the device in the most challenging environments is unmatched. Dual batteries that are hotswappable and produce up to a 16 hour run-time are accessed with a simple turn of a coin on the back of the device. Protected and secure, the SD card and SIM Card slots are located under the battery and inside the battery door.

Options
The Topcon Tesla can be configured with internal bluetooth, WiFi, Camera, GPS, and cellular functionality. There are even additional options such as built-in bar code reader and integrated precision GNSS receiver for network RTK capability. This long lis of functionaility makes the Topcon Tesla a perfect pairing with a robotic system, total station, or RTK rover. The Topcon Tesla even has an optional docking station that can be configured for in-cab vehicle operation for a site manager.
