The Topcon QS3 Quick Station is a robotic total station designed for surveying and construction layout. It measures horizontal and vertical angles along with distances to establish precise point locations. With 3-arcsecond angular accuracy, it supports work such as site surveys, mapping, and positioning construction features.
Its X-TRAC 8 tracking technology follows a moving prism, while the RC-4 Quick Lock system helps the operator acquire the target quickly. These robotic functions allow a surveyor to collect measurements while working at the prism. The QS3 also offers reflectorless measurement, allowing it to measure suitable surfaces without placing a prism at each point.
A full-color touchscreen and integrated wireless radio support field operation and communication with a compatible controller. The QS3 can be used to record existing site conditions, set out planned locations, and check completed work against design positions. Its combination of angle measurement, distance measurement, and automated tracking helps streamline surveying and layout tasks.
