The Topcon OS-103 Compact Total Station is a manual surveying instrument that combines electronic angle measurement and distance measurement in one unit. Surveyors and construction professionals use it to calculate positions, elevations, and distances for site surveys, mapping, and construction layout.

The OS-103 offers 3-arc-second angular accuracy and measures distances up to 4,000 meters using a prism. Its reflectorless measurement capability reaches up to 500 meters under suitable conditions, allowing operators to measure walls, structures, and other surfaces without placing a prism at the target.

Dual touchscreen displays and keypads provide access to measurement settings and onboard surveying functions from either side of the instrument. Its measurement trigger helps operators take readings while aiming, while USB, serial, and Bluetooth communication support transferring survey data and connecting compatible equipment.

Designed for outdoor fieldwork, the OS-103 has an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water jets. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 20 hours of operation, depending on use. A dual-axis compensator helps correct small instrument tilts, supporting reliable measurements during routine surveying and construction tasks.
