The Topcon GTS-753 is an electronic total station in the GTS-750 Series used for surveying and construction layout. It combines horizontal and vertical angle measurements with electronic distance measurements to determine point coordinates and elevations. The GTS-753 provides 3-arcsecond angular accuracy and measures distances to a reflector prism. Its single-prism range reaches 3,000 meters under specified atmospheric conditions, with fine-mode distance accuracy of ±(2 mm + 2 ppm × distance). This supports tasks such as measuring site dimensions and locating survey points.
A color touchscreen and keypad allow operators to enter data and control measurements. The instrument uses a 400 MHz Intel processor running Windows CE.NET 4.2. Coordinate measurement, stakeout, and remote elevation functions assist fieldwork, while USB, CompactFlash, and serial connections support transferring measurement data.
Designed for outdoor operation, the GTS-753 has IP54 protection against dust and splashing water. Automatic horizontal and vertical tilt compensation corrects for small instrument tilts, while an optical plummet helps position it over a survey point. Its rechargeable battery, integrated handle, and detachable base support transport and setup.
