The Topcon GTS-751 is an electronic total station in the GTS-750 Series used for surveying and construction layout. It measures horizontal and vertical angles and distances to determine point coordinates and elevations, helping surveyors document land features and establish construction positions.
The GTS-751 provides 1-arcsecond angular accuracy and uses a reflector prism for distance measurements. Its single-prism range reaches 3,000 meters under specified atmospheric conditions. Fine-mode distance accuracy is ±(2 mm + 2 ppm × distance), supporting precise measurements across a job site.
A color touchscreen and keypad allow operators to enter information and control measurements. Its 400 MHz Intel processor runs Windows CE.NET 4.2, while USB, CompactFlash, and serial connections support data transfer. Coordinate measurement, stakeout, and remote elevation functions help crews record existing features and locate planned points.
Designed for outdoor use, the GTS-751 has IP54 protection against dust and splashing water. Automatic tilt compensation helps correct measurements for small instrument tilts, and an optical plummet assists with positioning over a survey point. A rechargeable battery, carrying handle, and detachable base support field setup and transport.
