Topcon GT-703 3" Robotic Total Station
The Topcon GT-703 is a robotic total station used to measure positions and lay out points for surveying and construction. It combines electronic angle and distance measurements to help crews locate design points, record site conditions, and check that work has been built in the correct place.
Its motorized design can turn toward and track a survey prism, allowing an operator to work from a prism pole with a compatible field controller. This makes it useful for one-person layout and measurement across a jobsite. The GT-703 has 3-second angular accuracy for precise positioning work.
The instrument measures to a prism for longer-distance work and can also take reflectorless measurements directly to suitable surfaces. Reflectorless measurement helps when a point is difficult or unsafe to reach with a prism, such as a wall, beam, or other installed feature.
Contractors and surveyors can use the GT-703 to stake foundations, locate structural and utility points, check elevations, and collect as-built measurements. Paired with compatible Topcon field software, it helps crews move between design data and measurements made on site.
Built for regular field use, the GT-703 has a compact, weather-resistant body and fast brushless motors. Its combination of robotic operation, prism tracking, and reflectorless measurement makes it a versatile tool for construction layout and site surveying.
