The Topcon GT-603 is a 3″ total station for surveying, construction layout, and site measurement. It combines precise horizontal and vertical angle readings with electronic distance measurement to determine the position and elevation of points in the field.
Its motorized telescope can automatically aim at a compatible prism, helping an operator find and measure targets efficiently. The GT-603 can also measure directly to suitable surfaces without a prism, which is useful for walls, structures, and points that are difficult to reach.
Surveyors and contractors use the instrument to stake design points, establish building lines, check grades, and record as-built conditions. Its 3″ angular accuracy makes it suited to work where careful positioning and repeatable measurements matter.
The GT-603 connects with compatible Topcon field controllers and software so crews can bring design points to the site and save measured points for later review.
