The Leica TS15 P 5″ R400 is a motorized total station in the Leica Viva surveying range. It combines electronic angle and distance measurements to determine coordinates and elevations for land surveying, engineering, and construction projects.
The 5″ designation identifies its 5-arc-second angular accuracy. Surveyors use its measurements to map terrain, establish control points, check alignments, and position planned construction features on the ground.
Its R400 reflectorless system measures distances up to 400 meters to suitable surfaces under specified conditions. This allows operators to measure building faces and other locations where placing a prism is difficult. Prism measurement supports longer distances.
The TS15 P includes automatic target aiming, prism tracking, and PowerSearch to help locate a prism. With a compatible field controller and radio connection, these functions support one-person surveying from the prism pole.
A color touchscreen, illuminated keyboard, internal storage, and data interfaces support field operation and transferring measurements. Its rechargeable battery and IP55 protection suit outdoor work. Together, these features help crews collect survey information and perform construction layout efficiently.
