The Hilti PS 85 Handheld Rebar Detector is a versatile and easy-to-use wall scanner designed to prevent damage when drilling, coring, cutting, or slitting near embedded objects.
With a maximum detection depth of 200 mm and ±5 to 10 mm localization accuracy, it reliably detects rebar, live wires, wooden substructures, metal, and plastic pipes through concrete (wet and dry), brick, plasterboard, and tiles. Its large display, intuitive menus, and SD card export make operation simple, while the lightweight, ergonomic design with a large handle ensures a firm grip. Built for durability, it is shock and dust-resistant, making it ideal for tough jobsite conditions. Powered by Hilti’s 12V Li-ion battery platform, it offers seamless compatibility with other Hilti cordless tools.
