Trimble 5603 Total Station

Trimble 5603 Total Station
The Trimble 5600 Total Station series gives you access to the best and most productive measuring methods available for every measuring situation for every measuring situation for unassisted operation.

Servo gives you a 30% productivity increase
The 5600 series is equipped with 4-speed servo operation that gives variable speed, faster, smoother and more accurate aiming. Servo is the platform for measurement automation and for further upgrades to increased productivity.

Upgrade to Autolock and the productivity increase is 50%
Autolock™ technology enables semi-robotic operation, with measuring and recording taking place at the total station. The 5600 series seeks out the RMT target (Active Remote Measuring Target), locks to it, and follows it during movement between points. No fine adjustments needed, no focusing, no problems working in the dark (the instrument will locate the target in any situation), and no work-related injuries from constant turning of the total station. In most cases the Autolock feature makes it possible to stake out and gather survey data as fast as the rodman can move.

Upgrade to Robotic and the productivity increase is 80%
Robotic operation offers the same advantages as Autolock—in addition, it allows you to work on your own. Robotic measuring offers more than increased productivity and reduced personnel costs. It also gives higher quality measurements all the control initiation and registering take place at the measuring point, where any errors or discrepancies are quickly identified.

True Integrated Surveying
There are situations where measuring by GPS is more productive than by using a conventional total station, and vice versa. Trimble Integrated Surveying™ solutions offer you the best of both worlds. Simply move the control unit from one system to the other in a matter of seconds and go on with your survey. The software environment is identical and the data flow seamless.

Features:

  • Autolock and Robotic Surveying for increased productivity
  • 4-speed servo
  • Active search system
  • Seamless data flow
  • Choice of User Interfaces

Trimble TSC2 Controller Data Collector

COMBINE FIELD AND OFFICE IN ONE POWERFUL HANDHELD COMPUTER
The Trimble® TSC2® Controller is an advanced handheld computer especially designed for Trimble optical and GPS surveying systems.
With the Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ 5.0 software operating system, the TSC2 controller runs your choice of powerful Trimble field software. Add specialized applications to the standard Microsoft Outlook Mobile, Excel Mobile, Word Mobile, Power Point Mobile and Internet Explorer programs, and the TSC2 controller becomes a powerhouse of field and office functions on one rugged business device.

SMART, EXPANDABLE HARDWARE
Every innovative feature on the TSC2 controller is designed to make your job easier. Clearly view background maps and check work on the vibrant color graphic display for greater data control and confidence. Use the full alphanumeric keyboard, or quickly select software options using the touch screen. The unique TSC2 controller changeable cap enables the use of removable memory or third-party media, such as GPRS, GPS, camera, and product scanner functions. Extend your data logging capabilities and experience a major leap in productivity.

INDUSTRY-LEADING COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES
Eliminate cable hassles and expedite setup with integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology. When the TSC2 controller is used with a Trimble R8 or 5800 GPS system, the rover is 100% cable free for unsurpassed convenience and ease of use. The internal 2.4 GHz radio option is ideal for use with a robotic system such as the Trimble S6 total station.
Using the expandable media function, a GSM/GPRS modem can add full wireless communication to the Internet in the field.Transfer data in your office over a wireless 802.11 LAN—again, no cables are required. You can also use hotspots to quickly and securely share data with your office from remote locations.

FLEXIBLE COMMUNICATION OPTIONS
Choose the method of data transfer that suits your situation. Using an external modem such as a cell phone with Bluetooth, send and receive files over the Internet from the field: you don’t need to drive back to the office. In the office, internal 802.11 technology provides wireless connection to your network. The TSC2 controller also provides USB and serial RS232 communication options; data can be transferred to a PC or another TSC2 controller using a cable, Bluetooth, CompactFlash, or Secure Digital memory card media.

ONE CONTROLLER, ONE SOFTWARE, ONE INTERFACE
The TSC2 controller is central to Integrated Surveying™ from Trimble. With an application such as the Trimble Survey Controller™ software onboard, collect and manage both GPS and optical data in one Job file simply by switching the TSC2 controller between sensors. Standardize on one flexible controller for maximized investment. And your survey team only needs to know one interface. When field work is complete, simply transfer the Job file to your office using the communication method that suits your needs.
